Objective of the study : The purpose of this study is to compare the real cost of winter sports vacations for French householdsand this, according to the chosen resort.
First of all, it is necessary to mention that the French territory counts 232 ski resorts in France, and this, through the 6 French massifs The Alps, Jura, Massif-Central, Vosges, Pyrenees and finally, Corsica. The results of the study are the average of the prices charged, across these 232 ski resorts, spread over 31 French departments.

The main lessons of this national rate study are:

- The ski area » Les 3 Vallées » (Meribel, Courchevel, Val Thorens, and Les Ménuires) is the most expensive in France with a rate of 64 € per day.
- 95 € is the average price of a equipment rental ski equipment by the week
- 99€ in the Northern Alps against 85€ on average in the Vosges.
The impact of the health situation
Paradoxically, the French mountains could turn out to be the winning destination of the second deconfinement, in the hypothesis that the French will again be able to move freely on the territory, from the Christmas vacations.
